Hello, this is the Finschia Foundation.
We are pleased to announce that Finschia’s testnet, Ebony, has been successfully upgraded on April 27.
With this upgrade, the data from the existing Cashew testnet has been transferred to Ebony, allowing for integrated use and management in a single chain. Tokens/collections and existing account information stored on the Cashew testnet can still be utilized on Ebony. In addition, through the Faucet* feature, dApps have been able to perform preliminary checks on TFNSA* payments and transactions. Ebony has the same specifications as Finschia and this upgrade presents an opportunity to not only test TFNSA payments and transactions, but also to verify the potential success of future Finschia upgrades and mainnet functions.
* Faucet is a feature that issues test tokens (TFNSA) for use on a testnet.
* TFNSA refers to the test tokens used on the testnet.
Currently, only companies that have been pre-approved by the Finschia Foundation can use the Ebony testnet. We ask that service providers who are interested in using the testnet for dApp launches on the Finschia mainnet contact us at contact@finschia.org.
The Ebony testnet upgrade is part of the preliminary work we are undertaking for the Finschia mainnet upgrade, scheduled for May. With this successful testnet upgrade, the Finschia Foundation has completed all preparations for a stable upgrade of Finschia. We thank you for your support and look forward to the Finschia mainnet becoming fully operational soon.
